The Coffee Club at U3A Bendigo is a great place to get all the info on local eateries, where to go for other goodies and shopping, good old fashioned household tips and of course great places to go for coffee! The range of topics for discussion knows no bounds.

Coffee Club

Members keep fit by participating in one of our 4 walking groups. Bushwalking, Walking for Health, Nordic Walking and the Staying Active group.

Bushwalking Camp was held at the Grampians Retreat nestled at the base of the southern Grampians in Dunkeld. The camp was set in several acres of natural bushland and the first afternoon was spent exploring the area and identifying local wild flowers.


U3A Choir performing at a Christmas Concert. Together with other musical groups and assorted singers, this concert was one of our best! There's no end to the talent we have amongst us.


Table Tennis runs on 2 days a week and is very popular. If you want to lose weight, keep fit and have some fun all at the same activity then this one is for you.

We meet at the Bendigo Retirement Village for Art classes and Embroidery/Tapestry.

The Embroidery/Tapestry ladies work on individual projects and have many other craft interests as well. If members of the retirement village wish to join in they do.

Embroidery Group

The Art class runs 2 sessions morning and afternoon and it is largely self taught. Members critique each others work.

Art Class

Musical Study Groups include Chimes (bell ringing), an Instrument group, and our Choir.

Music Group

There are classes in Cryptic crosswords, Chess, Cribbage and Bridge.
